At first, I thought this was just an informational website about bariatric weight-loss surgery, sort of like Bariatric Learning Center. But when I read their mission statement, I noticed the first item talked about was company growth and profitability.

Long story short, this bariatric website is operated on behalf of the American Institute of Gastric Banding (AIGB) and their physicians / surgery centers. So while it is an informative website, it has also been created with the goal of acquiring new patients and new business.
