The Psychology Assessment Module allows full management of the bariatric surgery candidate’s pre-surgical psychological assessment, following recommendations set forth by the American Society of Bariatric Surgery. Module highlights include assessments of patient motivation and expectations, a full mental exam, codified DSM-IV TR diagnoses, tests and results, surgical candidacy recommendations, and automated notes and letters. With the Psychology Assessment Module, surgery practices can now provide better documentation for insurance reimbursement and more accurately screen patients for surgery.

The Dietitian Module includes all aspects for managing patients’ pre- and post-operative nutrition and behavior modification plans. Dietitians can create their own commonly prescribed regimens for weight loss in one click. Regimen components include energy intake, diet type, exercise plan, behavior modifications, supplements, and counseling plans. Dietitians can also quickly document follow-up visits and current behavior on each return visit and easily verify intake, current regimen, exercise duration, and plan adherence. Dietitians and the bariatric surgery practice save time and see more patients with streamlined documentation. The practice is also able to report on weight-loss progress based on specific pre- and post-operative dietary and behavioral modification plans, enabling better decisions and improved outcomes.

The new Inventory and Invoicing Module enables surgery practices that dispense supplements to track inventory of food products, supplements, vitamins, and medications directly in the patient encounter.
